Robot Tech Competencies for Fanuc and ABB Robots

Has a minimum of four years in an automotive production environment.
Has been trained and has complete knowledge of safety lockout procedures
Understands plant safety practices, toolbox talks, and proper PPE
Proficient in touching up existing weld paths
Capable of programming additional weld spots to current weld program
Revise current program utilizing weld template or marked product
Adjust part present and cylinder position switches to continue robot programming
Comprehend and act on tooling faults via HMI
Debug and alignment of light screens
Maintain and adjust robot dressing
Adjust part present switches on end of arm tooling
Move robots via HMI
Able to restart cell after lockout or maintenance activity
